It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert David Niesen of Tallassee, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dean and Sarah Kathryn Niesen; his wife Beverly Ward Niesen; and his brother Dean Niesen. He is survived by: his children, Christy Leigh Bonner (Brad) and Matthew David Niesen (Amy); his stepmother Mary Jane Niesen; his brother Alan Niesen (Aimee); and his grandchildren, Collier, Cole and Drake Bonner.

Expressions of sympathy and love may take the form of contributions to the Elmore County Humane Society.
