He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Levis Johnston and Howard Johnston; his stepmother Jean Johnston; his daughter Janet Johnston; his siblings, Braxton Johnston and Katie; and his brother-in-law Byron Holley.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Holley, Miranda McGinty (James) and Renee Harper (Jamie); his grandchildren, Christa Holley, Christina Huggins, Rebbekka Moore, Hunter Roberson, Jena Thompson, Sheena Harvey, Dillian Daniels, Kristopher McGinty, Kasey McGinty, Kevin McGinty, Kathryn Capps, Shane McGinty, Hanna McGinty, Ryan Harper, Devhon Harper, Jade Harper and Jannah Royal; and his brothers, Randy Johnston (Tanya), Paul Royal (Ginny) and Phillip Royal. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
