It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynwood DeKalb James of Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Carolyn Frazier James; his grandson William Russell Bozeman; and his siblings, G. B. James, Clyde James, Eunice Holly, Dorothy Dickey and Tessie James.

He is survived by: his children, Saralyn James Buck (Del), Lynwood DeKalb James II, Randolph Frazier James (Lee Ann), Kim James-Bond West (Mike) and Becky James Walton (Gary). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
