He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Stewart; his parents, Jack Stewart and Hazel Stewart; his brother Mickey Stewart; and his granddaughter Rebecca Lynn Woodfin.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Woodfin Gauthier, Ron Woodfin, Jackie Stewart (Allison) and Jennifer Watts (Tommy); and his brother Danny Stewart. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
