He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Garrett and Irene Garrett; and his siblings, Tommy Garrett and Cathy Ward. He is survived by: his wife Annie Lee Garrett; his son James Garrett (Dale); his grandchildren, Dalton Garrett (Izzy) and Courtney Garrett (Heath Clements); his great grandchildren, Stevie Garrett and Makenna Clements; his sister-in-law Gwen Garrett; his nephew Tim; and his brother-in-law Bryan Ward.
