He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Powell and Annie Powell (Sarah Powell). He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Main; and his grandchildren, John Howell (Tara) and Christy Yeager (Jerry). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Linville Memorial Funeral Home (84632 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, AL 36024). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery - Old Side (1109 N Ann Ave, Tallassee, AL 36078).
