It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Davis Parrott of Tallassee, Alabama, born in Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterlin Tolley Edwards and Flora Bell Best Edwards; her husbands, Walter Davis and Bobby Parrott; and her siblings, Betty Sue Willis, Myrtle Whitfield, Janice Edwards, Tom Edwards and Larry Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Thompson (Gary) of Pike Road, Steve Hart (Lisa) of Jasper, David Davis (Marti) of Prattville, Doug Davis (Cinda) of Tallassee and Andy Davis (Tina) of Mary Esther, FL; her grandchildren, Dawn Cotney (Andy), Christa Palovec (Ben), Stephen Hart, Christopher Davis, Megan Johnson (Jeff), Rachel Richardson (Anthony), Nicole Weems (Jeremy), Jeremy Davis (Christina), Ashleigh Hughes (Brandon), Whitney Abrams (Bradley) and Hayden Davis; her brothers, Glen Edwards and Phillip Edwards (Ruth); and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Edwards, Yolanda Davis and Joyce Jones. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
