He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hammonds and Evie Hammonds; and his siblings, Jean Bates, Gordon Welch Hammonds, Phillip Bruce Hammonds, Earnest Embry Hammonds and Billy Hammonds.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Magouyrk Hammonds; his daughter Trina Hammonds Whitworth (Darren); his grandsons, Walker and Brady; and his sister Rita Hammonds Nabors (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wewoka Assembly Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
