He is survived by: his wife Desiree Matson; his mother Gloria Holmes; his children, Brian, Dakota Matson, Angel Whitten (Brenton), Lacola Matson and Hiedi Matson; his sister Cristie Matson; and his grandchildren, Austen Whitten, Noah Whitten, Briana Matson, Kensley Matson, Trinity Matson, Paslee Matson, Brimley Matson, Bryson Mann, Zane Reeves and Lilly Matson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel (65001 AL-77, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
