She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Rushen; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Rushen; her grandchildren, Erin Bentley (Brandon), Kristen Odom (Jonathan) and Zachary Rushen (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Thomas Clausen, Adley Bentley, Olivia Rushen, Henry Rushen, Taylor Rushen and Lauren Rushen; and her brothers, James Jackson (Guylene) and Larry Cooper (Karen).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Jimmy Hale Mission to be given in Sarah's name.
