He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barber and Mary Barber; and his siblings, Faye, Larry and Mac.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Barber; his children, Amy Patterson (Clark), Mark Barber (Tina), Allyson Bass and Dakota Barber (Anna Williams); his grandchildren, Holli Patterson, Kathryn Patterson, Chase Barber (Lauren) and Bayleigh Boyd (Kaleb); and his great grandchild Halle Barber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
