He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest V. Welch and Louise Liddell Welch; and his brothers, Furman Welch and Everett Welch. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bolton Welch; his sons, Greg Welch, Derick Welch, Joseph Welch and Jonathan Welch; his sister Ernestine Gilleland; his grandchildren, Nicole Isbill, Hannah Welch, Sierra Welch, Andrew Welch, Airamis Enloe, Phoenix Wilson, Kodah Hulsey, Amethyst Welch, Cambridge Welch, Azrael Welch, Dustin Welch, Cameron Welch and Luke Welch; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Isbill, Kyle Isbill and Elena Welch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
