Perry Mae Williams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Perry Mae Williams of Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Neal Darby and Dealie Diamond Darby; her sisters, Jewel Darby Deal, Hazel Darby Sowell, Maxine Darby Steindorff and Laurice Darby Kern; and her husband King Edsel Williams.
She is survived by: her children, King Edsel Williams Jr. of Auburn and Susan Williams Chapman (Sid) of Monroeville; her grandchildren, Matt Chapman of Portland and Lauren Hadley (Chris) of Tuscaloosa; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Abby Grace. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Because of Perry's love of flowers, the family welcomes flowers, and contributions may be made to one's favorite charity in her memory.
