She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Yarbrough and Louise Yarbrough; her sister Vicky Yarbrough; and her son Trey Godwin. She is survived by: her husband Bill Godwin; her sons, Ryan Patterson (Teri) and Trent Patterson (Krista); her siblings, Andy Yarbrough (Annette) and Vaneila Beverly (Gerald); and her granddaughters, Hannah, Haley, Haddie, Katelyn and Brooke Patterson.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
