It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Frances Williams Gilbert of Talladega, Alabama, born in Lineville, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert O. Williams and Bertha C. Williams; her husband William Walter Gilbert; her son William Jerald Gilbert; and her brothers, Hubert Williams Jr. and Charles Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Owens (Jack), Janice Vincent (David), Cheryl Stevens (Rick) and Deborah Owen (Tommy); her grandchildren, Stacey Grayson, Laura Barfield, Molly Smith, Brett Owens, Duane Owens, Deke Owens, Amy Petrie, Timothy Vincent, Leslie Wray, Jeff Stevens, Ashley Powell and Mathew Owen; and her nephew Kinsey Heath. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Gilbert's name to Hepzibah Baptist Church.
