It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis S. Butterworth (Talladega, Alabama), who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Butterworth and Pauline Butterworth (Sexton); his wife Mary C. Butterworth; and his siblings, Bessy Nell Johnson, Billy R. Butterworth and Polly Jo Wingo.
He is survived by: his children, Steven L. Butterworth (Judith McGill) and T. Lynn Butterworth (John Rendinaro); his grandchildren, Philip (Crystal), Timothy (Swathi), Christina, Joanna, Nathaniel (Dawn) and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Steven, Larissa, Scarlet, Eliana, Gwen, Aoife and Misha; and his siblings, Virgil Butterworth, Jr., Betty Barnwell, Willard Butterworth, Phillip Butterworth and Frank Butterworth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
