With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Lavelle Bounds (Talladega, Alabama), who passed away on April 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Bounds and Martha Bounds; his wife Mavis Matson Bounds; and his siblings, Kermit Bounds, James Hilton Bounds, Madie Graham, Lesse May Everett and Myrtle Ross.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Green, Edward Bounds and Brenda Johnson; and his grandchildren, Michael Munn (Jennifer), Mandy Gooden, Morgan Munn, Marsha Walters (Luther), Matthew Johnson (Ian) and Edward Bounds Jr. (Ashley). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home Chapel (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
