It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lattie Otis Thrower (Talladega, Alabama), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Thrower and Dolly Thrower; his daughter Kathy Novotney; and his siblings, Jake Jr., Ralph, Charlie, Roger, Ray Thrower and Phyllis Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thrower; his children, J. L. Lovett, Dean Gochneaur (Mindy), Richard Lovett, Cecil Lovett and Beverly Lovett; and his brothers, Bill Thrower (Belinda) and James Thrower (Diane). He is also survived by great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel (65001 AL-77, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org.).
