He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ponder and Margaret Ponder; and his brothers, Preston Ponder and Ralph Ponder. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ponder; his sons, Rodney Ponder and Kyle Ponder (Marla); his grandchildren, Holly Alldredge (Drenon) and Dean Ponder (Autumn); his great grandchildren, Whitley Alldredge, Tarah Alldredge and Raelyn Ponder; and his nieces and nephews, Patty Eavenson, Cindy Powell, Harvey Ponder and Richie Ponder.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cragdale Baptist Church (2149 Berney Station Rd, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Ponder's family asks that donations be made in his memory to Cragdale Baptist Church, 2149 Berney Station Rd., Talladega, AL 35160.
