He is survived by: his wife Kristi Stapler; his children, KatieAnn Hubbard (Daniel), Bethany Stapler, Christopher Stapler, Jeremy Stapler, Nathan Stapler (Holland) and Joshua Stapler; his grandchildren, Sophia Stapler and Vincent Stapler; his siblings, Hubert D. Stapler Jr., Carla Jones and Karen Stapler; and his parents, Hubert D. Stapler and Irma Stapler.

The family welcomes flowers as well as memorial contributions made to Transformation Ministries, 5120 Cyrus Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35242.
