With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Browning of Talladega, Alabama, born in Randolph, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Browning and Ottie Hendon Browning; his siblings, Ruby Mitchell, David, Wayne and Gene Browning; and his grandson Jared King.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Simpson Browning of Talladega; his children, Janet Davis of Talladega, Seretha Jones (J. J.) of Lineville, Marian George (Eric) of Deatsville, Randall Browning (Sherry) of Talladega, Danny Joe Browning (Rebecca) of Deatsville, Dexter Browning (Pam) of Talladega and Harvey Browning (Owen) of Talladega; his sister Faye Screws of Lineville; and his grandsons, Brad Browning, B. J. Davis, Donny Pitts, Kevin Pitts, Brent Browning, Jeremy Parsons, Henry Nick Parsons and Daniel Browning. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home-Ashland (85499 AL-9, Ashland, AL 36251). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
