He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Jones and Bertha Mae Jones; his siblings, Billy Jones and Mary Lackey; and his stepdaughter Myrna Brewster.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Higginbotham Jones; his stepchildren, Barbara Rush, Gary Franklin (Janet) and Sheldon Franklin; and his siblings, Mildred Barber (Larry), Ruby Hunt, Brenda Taft (Walter) and Larry L. Jones (Janie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in honor of Edward Jones.
