She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Yelverton Jones; her friend Sue Muller; and her pet Chunk. She is survived by: her husband Randall McElroy; and her daughter Sandi Johnston. She is also survived by her cat's and grand cats.

Her family requests any donation in lieu of flowers be made to your local humane society.
