He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Wilson and Annie Wilson; his siblings, Lovell William Wilson, James Woodrow Wilson of Talladega, Sylvester Lee Wilson of Mount Clemens, Michigan, Annie B. McGhee of Talladega, Alabama and Ester B. Higgins of Talladega, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Savanna Wilson, Mary Wilson, Will Higgins, Sr., Willie George McGhee and Paul Eddie Garrett of Talladega.
He is survived by: his children, David Wilson, Jr. of Lincoln, Eric Reynolds of Marietta, Georgia, Andrietta Reynolds of Talladega and Tabitha Reynolds of Panama City, Florida; his adoptive daughter Latanga Scott (Lamont); his sisters, Bennie Garrett and Pauline McGhee of Talladega, Alabama; his nephew Will Higgins, Jr.; and his friend Annie Scales. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
