He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Wideman and Sarah Wideman. He is survived by: his wife Daphne Denton Wideman; his daughters, Haley Johnson (Alex) and Heather Wideman; his siblings, Billy Joe Wideman (Teresa), Steve Wideman (Misty) and Diane Fitzpatrick; his grandchildren, Brooks Johnson, Tenley Johnson and Cooper Johnson; and his parents-in-law, James and Glenda Denton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Talladega Creek Baptist Church.
