He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Drummond and Eunice Drummond; and his siblings, Nell Waits, Ed and Johnny Drummond.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Drummond; his children, Dr. Charles Opie Drummond (Ann), Carl Drummond (Autumn), Stephanie Jarmon (Eddie) and Bethany Stonicher; his grandchildren, Chloe Drummond, Sean Drummond (Marissa), Samantha Soverns (Desmond), Gary Drummond (Abby), Dallas Trese (Michael), Xander Jolley and Lauren Anderson (Parker); and his sisters, Eunice McCoy, Martha Parton (Homer) and Corliss Pruitt. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
