He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Jerrica Simpson and Miranda Simpson Yancey (Jeshua) of Denver, CO; his granddaughter Zada Simpson of Auburn, AL; his sisters, Karon Vezertzis (Nick) and Kelly Underwood (Michael) of Rainsville, AL; his parents, Terry Simpson and Syble Simpson; his niece Laurie Vezertzis; and his grandparents, Worth "D. W.", Myrtle Simpson, Lemule and Lavada Hamlet. He was also cherished by Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Shriners Hospital.
