He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Wilbanks; his parents, Ed Wilbanks and Leona Wilbanks; and his sisters, Jimmie Ray and Shirley Hill.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Sublett (Fulton), Donnie Haymon, Billie Trumenne (Paul), Edward Wilbanks (Deborah), David Wilbanks (Linda), Bobby Wilbanks, Kenneth Wilbanks (Lisa) and Steve Wilbanks (Wanda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
