She was predeceased by: her parents, Era Pearl Burcham and William Johnson; her siblings, Billy Joe Burcham, William Eddie Johnson and Elizabeth Ann Johnson; her grandson Brian Wayne McGehee; and her former husband Eddie DeRoy Bailey.

She is survived by: her significant other Jesse Douglas Carter of Sylvania, AL; her children, Shandrah Sharmel Bremner (William) of Ft. Smith, AR, Fredric Wayne McGehee of Tulsa, OK and Marc Douglas McGeehee of Ft. Payne, AL; her grandchildren, Thomas Frederic McGehee, Andrew Ivings of Dallas, TX, Olivia Ivings and Ethan Ivings of Sarasota, FL; and her friend Sheila Ivings. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
