He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitley and Eva Jane Whitley (Tib); his siblings, John Whitley and Fay Gentry; his sons, Curtis and Darren Whitley; and his granddaughters, Crissy Tyndall and Katie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Mae Whitley of Sylvania; his son Jamie Lee Whitley of Sylvania; his foster son Travis Raulston of Bridgeport; his daughters, Renee Whitley of Sylvania, Lynn Brown (Roger) of Flat Rock and Sherry Harris (Donald) of Madison; and his brother Bithel Whitley (Darlene) of Flat Rock. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Old Sardis Holiness Church (3669 Co Rd 120, Section, AL 35771).
