She was predeceased by: her sister Faye Hughes; her parents, Columbus Hughes and Beatrice Hughes; her husbands, Paul Allen, Ezra Dean and Roy Wilborn; and her daughter Betty Young.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Dean (Melinda), Tommy Dean (Tammy), Everett Dean (Angie), James Wilborn (Angela), Barney Dean, Bural Thompson, Kathy Goza (Kerry) and Ludie "Ann" Brownfield (Tim). She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
