He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy W. Gilliam and Billie Adams Gilliam; his sister Susan M. Gilliam; and his nephew Jonathan Ferguson. He is survived by: his son Andrew Gilliam; his siblings, Jeff Gilliam of Gordo and Jill Gilliam Ferguson (Terry) of Bessemer; and his nieces, Jessica Gilliam Yates (Brandon) and Kristin Ferguson. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Salem Cemetery.
