He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Talbot Bullard; his parents, Hobart McKinley Bullard and Ethel Owens Bullard; his siblings, Margaret Garner, Lora Mae Garner, Fannie Elliott, Bertha Lou Bullard, Doris Harris and McKinley Bullard; and his great grandchild Obadiah Lee Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gwin of Hueytown, Jamie Holmes (Tom) of Blount Springs, David Bullard (Mary) of Gadsden and Sister Alvatine Blackwell of Northport; and his great grandchildren, Keith Gwin, Blake Cummings, Wesley Holmes, Mason Holmes, Andrew Bullard and Connor Burkholder. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Hueytown, AL 35023). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McCauley's Chapel Church Cemetery (824 Tabor Rd, Gadsden, AL 35904).
