She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Roper; and her brothers, Curtis, James and Ralph Bearden. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Wakefield; her granddaughters, Christy Higgins (Wesley) and Misty Warren; her great grandchildren, Noah Warren, Brandon Warren, Thomas Earl Higgins, Patrick Higgins, Jonah Higgins and Caleb Higgins; and her siblings, Mary Franklin and Donald Bearden (Marietta).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Rock Creek Church of God Youth, 1001 Park Rd. Bessemer, AL 35023.
