She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Slaughter (Pops) and Lulu Newbery Slaughter (Lou); and her husband Johnny Moore Jones (John). She is survived by: her children, Elise Jones Morris (Ray) and Larry Jones (Donna); her grandchildren, Steven (Chelsea), Brian (Molly) and Rylee; her great grandchildren, Landon, Caleb, Will, Mayiah, Cari and Morris; and her caregiver Carol Helm. She is also survived by her family, her friends.
