He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Abbott and Jewel Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Denise Abbott; his children, Pamela Hanna of Sylacauga and Michael Hanna of Orange Park, FL; his siblings, Dale Abbott of Ripley, MS, Ronald Abbott of Tuscaloosa and Vicky Cleveland of Texas; and his nephews, Kevin Abbott, Keith Abbott, Chip Abbott, David Cleveland, Jr. and Tony Cleveland.
