Robbie Brooks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robbie Brooks of Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Mae Machen and Douglas Lewis Machen; her husband Mickey Joe Brooks; and her brothers, D. L. Machen and John Neal Machen.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Brooks (Mary), Tim Brooks (Sandy), Toni Hardegree (Matt), Rex Brooks (Paula) and Ginny Valentine; her sister Mary Ella Mizzell (Carey); her grandchildren, Wade Brooks, Beth Turner, Will Brooks, Michael Brooks, Joshua Brooks, Matthew Hardegree, Daniel Hardegree, Catherine Hardegree, Camryn Brooks, Connor Brooks, Jon Brooks and Audrey Valentine; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Brooks, Harper Brooks, Marlowe Brooks, Millie Brooks, Brooks Turner, Sam Turner, Emily Turner, Charlotte Brooks, Thea Hardegree, Winston Hardegree and Leo Hardegree.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robbie's memory may be made to Oldfield Methodist Church; Coosa Valley Hospice; and Coosa Valley Home Health.
