He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Sherbert and Francis Lillian Sherbert; and his siblings, Shawn Mathew Sherbert and Nancy Tracy Coleman. He is survived by: his children, Michael "Doodle" Sherbert (Ashley Riley) and Shelly Sherbert Garner (Jason); his grandchildren, Michael Connor Sherbert, Kathryn Alaina Sherbert, Adalyn Brooke Sherbert, Hunter Todd Garner and Hannah Elizabeth Ricks (Alan); his great grandchildren, Issy Jane Garner and Layla Gayle Garner; and his brothers, John Sherbert (Mary Jane), Steve Sherbert (Sharon) and Byron "Spud" Sherbert (Wanda).
