He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Taylor; and his parents, Barnes Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy T. Buckner (Dennis), Paula Motes (Mac) and Allison Taylor Poer (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Taylor Buckner (Celeste), Ramsey Buckner, Carrie Motes, Abbie Weigel (David), Taylor Grace Poer and Drew Poer; his great grandchildren, Hudson Buckner, Gibson Buckner, Wyatt Buckner, Mac Weigel and Felicity Weigel; his brother Waylon Taylor; and his friend Jean Gallups.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley Chapel UMC of Sylacauga.
