She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Hammond; her parents, William Dick and Bonnistelle Dick; and her brothers, Paul Dick and Jack Dick.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Boykin (Greg) and Ginger Weygand (Freddy); her grandchildren, Chase Payne (Caitlyn), Samantha Reno (Jeff), Jori Drummonds (Ryne), Hunter Weygand and Elizabeth Keebler (Matthew); her sister Agnes Grice; and her great grandchildren, Vivy Payne, Annsley Reno, Parker Drummonds and Payne Drummonds.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
