She was predeceased by: her son Terry Charles Whitfield; and her great grandchild Lilly Rae Gulledge. She is survived by: her husband Bob Dyer; her sons, Ricky Whitfield (Reta), Randy Whitfield (Vanessa) and Jerry Dyer (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Melinie Moore, April Scott, Candice Gulledge, Whitney Holomon, Brent Whitfield and Dylan Hamlin.
