She was predeceased by: her father T. Eldridge Beckett; her husband William L. Vance; her siblings, Thomas E. Beckett, Jr. and Martha V. Beckett; and her brothers-in-law, J. Winston Abernathy and Howard Thorson.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Vance (Sandra) and Suellen Vance; her grandchildren, Ryan Vance and Kristin Barnes (Kameron); her great grandchildren, Kinsley and Kayden Barnes; her sister Mary Tom Abernathy; her sisters-in-law, Donna Beckett Campbell and Gloria Thorson; and her nieces and nephews, Shelley Halter (Bill), Annamarie Lasseter, Nancy Thorson, James Abernathy, Trey Beckett (Jennifer), Howard Thorson (Kathy) and David Thorson (Cheryl). She is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Lastly, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Red Cross or the Alzheimer's Association.
