Welch; her child Sunbeam; her husband Alvin; her sons, Maury Grayson (Eilani), Patrick Vaughan Grayson of Huntsville, AL and Alvin Ray Grayson (Shalandra); her cousins, Harryette Jackson and Willie F. Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Irene Adams and Cora Lee Johnson; her granddaughters, Tia Jones and Ashley Grayson; her godchildren, Jaclyn E. Robinson and Cetera A. Lawson; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Tyion, Seth, Davares and Leekendrick Grayson. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
