He is survived by: his wife Ruby P. Welch; his children, Bobbi Welch Houston and Tony Benefield (Wife Amanda); his grandchildren, Mason Houston, Michelle Reynolds, Kaylynn Benefield and Lesli Plagany (Husband Victor); his great grandchildren, Baylee Benefield, Brentley Reynolds and Liam Reynolds; and his siblings, Wayne Welch, Jolson Welch, Gwendolyn "Tootie" Coker and Anne Welch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
