He is survived by: his wife Dana Hassell of Sylacauga; his son Ryan Hassell of Sylacauga; his stepchildren, Jonah and Natelee; his sister Jill Hassell Wootten (Bill) of Hoover; his nieces, Kelly Russell Wootten and Cody Wootten Chase; and his uncle Myra. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
