She was predeceased by: her husband Jackie Bates; her son Jackie Will Bates Jr.; her parents, William Dale and Iris Dale; and her grandchildren, Sarah Turner, Jessie Bates and Taft Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Malcolm Bates (Denise), Celena Martin (Scott), Casundra Ann Turner (Bill) and Scott Bates (Trina). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
