With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Rudd Sr. of Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Rudd, Sr. and Rosa Ophelia Jones Rudd; his wife Mary Traylor Rudd; and his children, Marsha Lynn Rudd and John Barlow Rudd.

He is survived by: his children, Jamie Rudd (Janet) and Amanda Martin (Mel); his grandchildren, Bevin Hawkins, Daniel Rudd (Meredith), Max Martin, Avery Lowery and Bryan McGinnis; and his great grandchildren, Kye Rudd and Amelia Rudd.
