He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Tankersly of Sylacauga and Henry McCary (Rusty) of Port St; his children, Joe McCary (Debbie), Frank McCary, Linda Ford and Martha McCary; his grandchildren, Sara McAvoy, Jonathan Parden, Cary Brand, Randy Ford and Gillian McCary; his great grandchild Erma Reams; and his wife Marilyn McCary. He is also survived by two step-children, four step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Emergency Fund of the First Baptist Church in Sylacauga, AL.
