With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Jones Peters (Sylacauga, Alabama), who passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jones and Gladys Jones; her siblings, Clarence Jones, Ferrell Jones, Donald Wayne Jones, Melvin Jones, J. W. Jones Jr., Ruth Jones and Betty Lou Burton; her sons, Larry Gene Peters and Gary Dean Peters; and her grandson Richard Shannon Nicholson.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Peters; her children, Patty Nicholson, Sharon Blythe Lovelady (Butch) and Ronald Peters (Liba); and her siblings, Charlie Jones, Pat Shaw, Ramona Cost and Marie Duncan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Knollwood Presbyterian Church.
