She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Gill, Jr.; her children, Wanda Kay Gill and William "Bill" Gill; her granddaughters, Kimberly Ann Christopher and Sherry Lynn Whaley; her great grandchild James Payton McDonald; and her parents, Fred Tanner and Eula Mae Tanner.
She is survived by: her children, Betty J. Whaley (Jimmy), Barbara Gill Whaley and Leon Gill III (Jennifer). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
